This Privacy Policy explains how Studio Nil Brands (“Studio Nil Brands”, “we”, “us”), a branding and design studio based in Brazil and operated by Nil Brands (CNPJ 22.181.588/0001-60), collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit https://nildesigner.com (the “Website”) or contact us through it. We process personal data in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados – LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).
1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA
Studio Nil Brands, operated by Nil Brands (CNPJ 22.181.588/0001-60), Brazil, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact details are in section 10.
2. DATA WE COLLECT
If you contact us or request a quote through the quote request form linked from the Website (“Orçamento”), we receive the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, company, and details about your project. You decide what to share; please do not send sensitive personal data.
When you browse the Website, standard technical and usage information may be collected through analytics and through our hosting provider, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page, and approximate location.
3. WHY WE USE YOUR DATA
We use personal data to: (a) respond to your messages and quote requests and prepare proposals; (b) take steps at your request before entering into a contract; (c) operate, secure and maintain the Website; (d) understand how the Website is used and improve its content and performance; and (e) comply with legal and regulatory obligations. Our legal bases under the LGPD are, as applicable, your consent, the performance of pre-contractual procedures at your request, c ompliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Website.
4. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
The Website uses Google Analytics (Google Analytics 4), a web analytics service provided by Google, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how visitors use the Website. This information is used to produce aggregated statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Website work.
5. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND SHARING
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that are necessary to operate the Website and handle your requests, acting on our behalf: Adobe (Adobe Portfolio, which hosts and delivers the Website, and Adobe Fonts, which delivers the typefaces used on it); Google (Google Analytics); and forms.app (the service that provides our quote request form). These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some of the providers above may process data outside Brazil. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards available under the LGPD for international data transfers.
7. PINTEREST AND OTHER PLATFORMS
Studio Nil Brands publishes its own portfolio content to its own Pinterest Business account. Where we use the Pinterest API to create and manage our own Pins, it is used only to operate our account, through authorization granted by the account owner. It is not used to collect personal data about visitors to the Website or about other Pinterest users. The Website also links to third-party platforms (such as Behance, LinkedIn and Instagram); their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
8. HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to respond to your request, maintain a business relationship, and meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of our analytics account.
9. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE LGPD
As a data subject you may, at any time and upon request: confirm that we process your data; access your data; correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data; request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed in violation of the LGPD; request portability of your data; request information about the entities with which we share your data; request information about the possibility of refusing consent and its consequences; and withdraw your consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
